Goosey Goo was founded by Sean, Clodagh, and Nicole. After experiencing first-hand the challenges of raising a child with eczema when our daughter Eabha was born, she struggled with severe skin sensitivities, finding relief only in luxury baby clothes made from organic cotton or bamboo fiber. Traditional baby clothing caused intense itching, especially during naps and warm nights.

Like many families, we faced financial difficulties, and in January 2024, Sean, Clodagh and Éabha found themselves homeless. During this challenging time, we met Nicole who has been homeless since 2021, a fellow parent whose four children also deal with sensory issues and skin conditions. Together, we were stunned by the high prices of quality baby clothing, with premium baby sleep suits costing €25–€35 and vests priced around €15—far beyond the reach of many families struggling with the cost-of-living crisis.

Determined to make a difference, we began sourcing premium suppliers, the same ones that supply leading brands. To our surprise, we discovered that we could import these high-quality baby clothes at a fraction of the price, allowing us to offer them to families at half the cost of our competitors.

Our goal is simple: to provide affordable, high-quality baby clothes designed for children with eczema, sensory issues, and other skin sensitivities. We believe every child deserves to feel comfortable, and every family should have access to the best products, regardless of financial challenges. That's why we have a major commitment to giving back to those who like ourselves, are facing homelessness in Ireland. We pledge to make donations and charitable contributions for families who struggle the most.
